About Mountain View Memorial Mortuary & Cemetery
Mountain View is characterized by reverence for the splendor of nature and for the spirit of a loved one. The cemetery lies along the Cottonwood Canyons and is full of the sounds of nature--leaves tossing in the breeze and water trickling from a fountain through ponds, streams, and over a waterfall. Life-like bronze statues of elk, mountain lions, bears, and deer add to the mountainous landscape.
At Memorial Mortuaries, we are committed to acknowledging the service and sacrifice of our veterans. The cemetery gate opens up to a memorial water fountain with flags waving from each branch of the military as well as firefighters and law enforcement. The water feature offers a spectacular place for the final resting place of a loved one's cremated remains. Mausoleum and boulder niches are also available to suit your family's unique needs.
Our mortuary is constructed of a blend of Montana rock and timber to create a seamless transition from outdoors to indoors. The large chapel can accomodate around 200 people. Other large viewing areas can hold bigger gatherings or smaller groups.
Around the waterfall feature is a special area for families seeking luxurious family plots. This is the only area in the cemetery where upright markers are permitted. Detailed landscaping adds to the beauty of this area.
